The rhythms of rural life, combined with gorgeous architecture, take you back to a simpler time that grabs at your heartstrings. A time when you took leisurely strolls to downtown and along the way you might stop and visit with your neighbors sitting on the front porch having a glass of sweet iced tea. Maybe you came with the idea of just slowing down to enjoy the beauty of the Piney Woods of east Texas, or delving into the rich history of our town. Whatever the reason, you’ll find all you need right here in Jefferson.
After living in Europe for over 20 years, we finally found our place to come home to. We jumped at the chance to bring that European influence back with us and to incorporate the laid back French farmhouse style that we had come accustomed to when roaming and exploring the countryside of France. But we especially wanted to bring that special feeling of living in villages with cobblestone roads and flowerboxes overflowing with abundance…and bring that feeling and warmth to Jefferson. As we learned of the history of Jefferson and the ties to France, we knew this was a match made in heaven.
